"Our Why"

Fore Teens was developed to ensure disconnected teens, those who wish to attend college and especially those who do not, have equal opportunity for career success. Our mission is to offer leadership development resources to nurture and empower the vocational dreams of youth 12 years of age and older.

“Positively Impact Lives through Exposure”

Positive exposure is a major element essential to inspire, especially, at-risk youth to succeed academically, professionally, and personally. Introducing youth to people, places, and things that they would not normally experience in their daily lives, provides positive, unique and educational experiences, which empower them to constructively develop the knowledge, skills, maturity, and sense of purpose required to live rewarding lives as adults.

To combat the rate of disconnect youth, we felt it important to capture youth before reaching high school. Thus, Fore Teens target individuals beginning at 12 years of age. We strive to empower future employers and employees, by developing a talent pipeline of traditional and nontraditional careers and local businesses. All programs are derived to encourage positive thinking and strive to instill the moral character necessary for our youth to break negative generational cycles, lead, thrive, and contribute as productive citizens.

Company Matching

Some companies will allow employees have a say in how their company spends its giving budget. To do so, the company will match an employee donation, by making their own donation to the employee's selected organization. Please inquire with your organization regarding this benefit.

Volunteer

Fore Teens is a completely volunteer-run organization. Without the time and talents of our volunteers, we would not be able to conduct programs, raise funds, or effectively serve our youth.
